Juicing celery has many benefits including being a perfect drink for rehydration after exercise, and also weight loss, improved digestions and a boost to your immune system. Celery was originally used for medicinal purposes to purify the blood. High in soluble fibre, celery juice is a stimulating tonic and a great addition to a healthy diet.
Celery and celeriac juice is traditionally used for asthma, constipation, fever, fluid retention, gout, headache, inflammation, insomnia, kidneys, liver, lungs, migraine, nervous problems and weight loss. Fresh celery juice has a mild diuretic effect and helps curb the craving for sweets which benefits weight loss.
Rich in magnesium and iron content, with up to 95% water, fresh celery juice provides valuable nourishment for blood cells. Juicing celery will provide a good source of potassium, which is great for hydrated and healthy skin. A major benefit in consuming celery juice is that it also helps to regulate blood pressure. Vitamin C found in celery helps to support the immune system and is a cold fighter. Fresh celery contains cancer-fighting compounds that detoxify pollutants including cigarette smoke.
Common salt or inorganic sodium chloride is harmful to the body, whereas organic sodium in celery juice is most beneficial. Sodium is called the youth element because it removes acid from the body, reduces stiffness and loosens the muscular skeletal frame.
Celery juice is useful for people who have high acidity resulting in calcification and degenerative bones and joints. This harmful accumulation is obtained from the over-indulgence of animal protein, too many grains, refined and concentrated sugars and concentrated starches. The body can benefit from an increased consumption of celery juice which helps to eliminate calcium deposits before they accumulate and cause harm.
Drinking one or two glasses of fresh celery juice can benefit people afflicted with
To be able to enjoy tranquil and restorative time at home while detoxifying your body is now an easily accessible luxury.
Saunas provide you with health benefits in just a few minutes a day, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated to deal with busy life.
You may have heard about ‘infrared’ and ‘regular saunas,’ and the differences between the two. We get questions everyday here at Vitality about this and also why the Zen Far infrared sauna is different to others.
In this article we will dive into answering these questions and let you know about
- evidence-based truths of how infrared saunas can really benefit your health
- help clear up some myths around infrared saunas
- explain the benefits and points of difference of a zen far infrared sauna
Regular saunas vs infrared saunas
Traditional saunas heat the air around you, whereas as infrared saunas use infrared lamps to warm you more directly.
Traditional saunas normally operate at around 150 F (65 degrees C) to 180 F (82 degrees C) and some people find this too hot to handle for more than a couple of minutes, if at all.
Although these saunas certainly help you to sweat and can provide warmth to your body and a ‘feel good’ feeling, we need to remember that sweating does not necessarily give you actual health benefits (keep reading to discover the facts) like fat loss or better skin, for example.
Infrared saunas function at a much lower temperature of 100 F (37 degrees C) to 130 F (54 degrees C) which makes it more tolerable in increasing your duration of use, plus actually enjoying the experience (you want it to help reduce stress, not create stress, right!)
A big part of wellbeing and health is the ability for your gut to remain in balance with good bacteria to ward off health issues and maintain a healthy brain-gut connection.
But how do you stay super healthy on the inside without needing to consume more food or take supplements?
Juicing is a simple, tasty and convenient way to keep your gut health in check. Vitality 4 Life has a high quality premium range of juicers, fit for every individual need and budget.
In this article we will cover the benefits of juicing for your overall well being and gut health, the different styles of juicing and how you can best select the right juicer for your needs.
Why is gut health important?
Your gut is linked to your brain, communicating through nerves and hormones. If you have mostly good bacteria in your gut and maintain a healthy balance of these bacterias, your wellbeing will be greater.
It’s visible too! Your skin will have more of a glow, your immune system will function more efficiently, you will have greater energy and vitality and just feel all round healthier, inside and out.
If you have an imbalance of bacteria in your gut, you may experience a range of health issues like: crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, fatigue, food cravings especially sugar, unintentional weight changes, allergies, mood swings and skin irritations.
In order to maintain a healthy gut, it generally comes down to having enough probiotic food in your diet, healthy enzymes and good fats as a start. Decreasing stress, alcohol, highly processed foods and sugars also helps.
Consuming high nutrient foods like greens, vegetables and fruits can assist your gut in returning back to balance and a great way to do this while easing up the load on your digestion is juicing.
Home juicing machines have come a long way in recent years and are a must-have kitchen appliance that you and
What are food dehydrators?
Food dehydrators are a great way to reduce your cost of food, increase your nutritional intake and speed up your cooking.
In the past our ancestors relied on the sun to dry out food, but these days it is a process where moisture is removed from foods by circulating air at a very low temperature in an oven-like device including two main designs: stacked shelves and pull out shelves.
In this article we will cover the benefits of using food dehydration plus some great tips on deciding the best machine for your home or business, all backed by Vitality 4 Life’s 30 day return policy, 24/7 customer support and extended warranties.
What are the main benefits of dehydrating food?
There are many benefits to dehydrating your food and getting a food hydrator machine.
Increases your fibre intake
Studies have shown that food dehydration helps to increase the fibre intake of fruits and vegetables. Fibre is an essential nutrient for gut health, digestion and overall wellbeing and many people do not get enough daily fibre according to Australian and American departments of health.
It is recommended you consume at least 25 - 30 grams of fibre per day. One example of fibre increasing in a fruit dehydrator is apricots. When apricots are dehydrated fresh apricots have 3.1 grams of fibre while dried apricots contain 6.5 grams of fibre.
Increased energy and absorption
Food dehydrators can help with concentrating calories in your snacks, providing a longer, sustained energy release for your body.
This is helpful for people who go outdoors on long walks, hikes or camping for example, where sugars are important for long periods of activity without the access to refrigeration.
Increased nutritional content
It has also been shown that food dryer machines i

Easy exercise at home after baby or any break from exercise..

After I had my first baby it was super tricky getting back into exercise. In fact, I couldn’t walk properly for three months, had abdominal separation and back pain.
I wanted to walk, but even going up the driveway was hard for so long!
Not only that, but the time I used to have for exercise was reduced by at least half or more. Realistically, getting in 10 minutes was a huge achievement of just some light bodyweight exercises.
Then it dawned on me.
Why was I worrying about this and stressing about getting out with the baby all the time? I love exercising at home at my own convenience, so I got a Vitality4life WalkSlim Home Treadmill.
Now, as a personal trainer who needed to get back into exercise myself I knew I needed to get my cardio up again to shed a few kilos, get fitter and build up my body again without any heavy loads or impact.
Running was out of the question due to a back injury and weakened pelvic floor, plus I much preferred walking anyway.
As soon as I got this treadmill I loved it.
Why? Because it was simple to set up and use to exercise at home.

The BioChef Living Food Blender is by far one of our most exciting products to date, and we truly believe that this product will surpass blender standards globally by giving customer access to the very latest technology without the exuberant price tag. This BioChef Living Food Blender Review will outline the reasons why the BioChef Living Blender is the easiest blender to use and operate in the world.
One of the main priorities of a blender is to essentially speed up the process of crushing, grinding or chopping your produce. We all want a blender which will save us time and which should help you create smoothies, juices, soups etc easily and quickly. There are specific features of blenders which make some easier and quicker to use than others.
Touch Screen Controls & Preset Functions
Generally the controls of a blender are an indication of how simple the machine is to use. A machine which has limited to no controls means that the blending will stay at the same speed throughout and will result in uneven consistency and varying results. Also it will mean that the process is completely reliant on your judgement and you will have to watch over the blender for the processing time, meaning you can't do other things in the kitchen while this is happening.
We have heard time and time again of customers who love the theatre of a blender demonstration and if your in the market for a high powered blender you will have seen them. However when they get the product home, whipping up the demonstrated recipes just isn't that easy. Customers become disappointed with their new appliance and it sits in the bottom cupboard and gathers dust. The BioChef Living Food Blender
