How Does A Gas Heater Work?

It is worth noting that gas heaters also produce water vapour which can lead to condensation and potentially mould.

The term ‘infrared’ refers to a type of electromagnetic radiation, a continuum of frequencies produced when atoms absorb and then release energy.
You may hear the term ‘far’ infrared when looking up heaters aswell. The distinction here is that ‘near infrared’ light is closest in wavelength to visible light and does not produce heat. ‘Far’ infrared is closer to the microwave in terms of the electromagnetic spectrum and these waves are thermal.
Using the same heat from the sun without the harmful UV rays, infrared heaters work on the premise of converting electricity into radiant heat, duplicating the most basic form of heating.
